Predator Free 2050 summary in our own words

Predator Free 2050
85 million years ago NZ was one of the first countries to split apart from Gondwanaland. Gondwanaland is when all the land in the whole Earth was together in one big country - they split up and became the continents. This meant that the only mammals NZ has, either swan here or flew here.

Because NZ is an island with no mammals, the birds, insects etc became defenseless (because they had no predators to hide from). Maori and Europeans settlers killed lots of animals, and brought with them predators from other countries (for example possums, rats, stoats, dogs).

Those predators brought here by settlers, have destroyed our native birds/plants. NZ has one of the worst extinction records of any nation in the world.

NZ has been trying to control the pests by using traps, poisoning but it hasn’t really worked. We need to work together to control the pests.

It is everyone’s responsibility to control pests and protect native species - all New Zealanders.

Hope for England

“Man we should always be alert for whatever comes our way cause Britain can pop up and destroy us when we’re celebrating or messing around” said Wu. “But I'm sure they learnt when we beat them three years ago,” said Jo.”But with us around the three genrals we can destroy anything that comes our way”.

But then when they were weak and celebrating great britain came full force. It was a major problem because the three generals went on vacation and the Navy were still sleeping. There were tanks as big as mountains and aeroplanes that could be seen so high in the sky. But in those aeroplanes lies deadly toxic bombs. Omgggg so many people. ` up and run or you’re dead meat” shouted lutant sharia  .


But then in the midst of the three major generals they were furious then they pulled off their ultimate move. The Covid-17 allows them to cause a  natural disaster,But 1 hour ago the three generals had to go on a boat because they just heard about the attack on england. Then they had to speed up the boat ultra speed and they made it just in time. Then all the britain forces were wiped out just in one blow.

Then in a spec of time buildings started to fall and lots of people were killed or riders had broken their whole body. The buildings were dropping down like flies. The buildings were skyscrapers. Tones of children and families were slotted by falling buildings.

But then crainers came and started to catch the buildings that kept on falling and falling. They kept on making earthquakes when they fell. One of the three generals' families died and he was furious and so depressed. But the other two were happy because they won. Then this time Britain really learnt this lesson and they were sure that they wouldn't come back ever again.

‘Get in the bus or well be late’ yelled Britney ‘ok I just need to get something from my house’ said big Bob then he leapt into the bus as the door was closing ‘phew just made it’ said Britney.

‘Now it's time to get keke,’ said big Bob. The two friends sat in the bus for a short time but for Britney it felt like a million hours. She started to get bored and played a video game with big Bob. The game's name is Fortnite. Finally, They were at keke house.

Big Bob jumped out of the bus and ran to keke house. He knocked at the door when it opened he saw keke all ready with a colorful T-shirt  ‘You are ready’ said big Bob ‘Thank you’ Said keke. ‘Now let's have some fun’ said big Bob. When they got on the bus Britney told them to come next to her ‘She is very bosy’ said big Bob just as the bus was about to go one of the tyres were pop so they could not go anywhere just then they saw a yellow taxi they waved at it for it to come .  Then the taxi came and picked them up.

Maui and the fish

Maui dreamed one day he could go fishing with his older brothers.  In the seven seas lies a big fish that would gobble up anyone one who would come even 10 meters close to it. The fish is very fast and has sharp teeth. You could even say that the teeth can cut through anything. But then 4 brothers took the test to hunt down the great fish. One of the brothers' names was Maui. He made a magic hook from his grandpas jaw bone. He went out to the far end of the seas with his brothers. On a very big waka. After they did that Maui casted his magical fish hook out to sea and caught the big giant ika. They pulled and pulled then the big giant fish came out. The big fish was called the north island and the brothers and maui were frozen and made into mountains but maui was the biggest mountain.
