Last week on volleyball we were learning how to get into position.  How to get into position is easy you just have to relax your arms. We also learnt how to pass the ball to our buddy. We learnt to serve the ball well. After that we played a little game. In the game we had to choose the best catcher. Then if they caught it we help them to catch the other throws.

Where did it happen?
it happen in Rapanui (Easter Island).

When did it happen?  

It happened in 2012.

Who are they talking about? 

The story is talking about the ancestors that use to sail the sea.

Why did they travel?

They travel around so they could go to Easter Island.

How did they travel 

They were  traveling  by boat.

Watch the clip again and carefully watch what the people are doing. Why do some run away? Why do some stand still? When the bridge collapses, what do the people do? Why do they try to get into the van? Use these questions to help you think about the way people might have been feeling during this earthquake. Write 30 words about how they might be feeling.

Start here;

The people would be feeling very sad because people died. They would feel scared because lots of stuff that are big are breaking down. They were feeling angry because it keeps on happening lots of times.

Today Miss Ashley showed us lots of tips and tricks for using Google Drawings to make our pictures look amazing. We learnt about 

-CROPPING TOOL (this lets you cut part of the picture out)

-RESIZING (making a picture smaller or bigger)

-MASKING (making a picture fit inside a shape like a circle or heart)

-RED MARKER LINES (so the picture is in the middle of the page)

-PNG FILES (drag and drop) (We have to use PNG so they don't have ugly backgrounds, PNG has no background)

-GROUPING (This lets you kind of 'glue' two pictures together to make one picture)

-TEXT (rotating text)

Today we are practising learning our basic facts. We are using the game speed skills to do this. This game is about knowing your basic facts and beating your own score from before. It is not about beating other people. It is about beating yourself. Learning my basic facts and timetables will help me move up levels in maths.

Today we had to write about a short clip we watched. Our goal was to describe IN DETAIL what we saw. This was just a practice so then when we wrote our own stories, we know how to write in detail and don't forget to leave things out. It helps the reader get a picture in their head, like a movie, of what I am writing.

the jetlee breeze  blow the thought the open window the suns shanie  bright light went thought the window under the window there was a reelow resting there was a pack of books. on the reelow  it showed 7:00 as it ticked to 7:00 the reelow pled a slow song but salley the slow song turd off from a sleepy boy.he went back to sleep the skin alam went he was rlakedin to turd  it off the he turd it off then went back to his  scipy pilow
