Mālō e lelei Weslei, Unfortunately this is not the right answer but don't worry as we can work this out together, I got you! :o) Let's do it in small steps: a) 1 year has 365 days b) The cactus takes 3 ml per day c) Therefore, for one full year we need to multiply 3 by the number of days in a year which is 365. Hence 365 x 3 Now, I will need you to continue from this point and break the biggest number down so you can multiply it easier until you get to the final answer. For example: 365 x 3 you could break it down as 300 x 3 , 60 x 3 and 5 x 3 , by doing this in this way it become easier to solve and find the final answer. Do you think you could do that and let me know by replying to this e-mail? If you get stuck make sure to ask for help from a family member, another student from your school or even your teacher. In order for you to gain full points for this activity I need you to hoop back and tell us how did you find the answer, the "work out" part just like I did above by using some place value to break the biggest number into small numbers to find the result. Could you do that and let me know by replying to this comment? That would be great! I want to make sure that you get all the points you deserve in order for you to have the chance to win some prizes, so keep up the good work! ;o) Kia kaha, Patricia
